Roller Recovery Service

JJ Stafford Engineering will re-cover your old rollers. Send your old rollers to us and we will cover them with the same rubber compound we use on all our new rollers. We use unique processes to apply the rubber to the core and to vulcanize the compound.
Each roller is ground by computer-controlled grinders and tightly calibrated. For most models of rollers, we replace the bearings so that it will arrive in your shop press ready. Recovered rollers will perform as well as new ones.
Re-covering cores you send takes 3 days.

J.J.Stafford Engineering  can carry out your repair work during the holiday seasons, to reduce working downtime. We also provide a delivery and collection service.

We are able to supply replacement bodies, buttons, bladders, etc., that will restore your airshafts to their original condition. airshaft

JJ Stafford Engineering provides a repair service that can restore virtually every product to first-class condition. Any product sent in for repair is first inspected and the customer is advised of the costs to effect restoration. Once approved, the product is speedily repaired and returned for use.

Knife Grinding

J.J.Stafford Engineering Limited provides a blade grinding service for all  guillotines and paper cutters. We can hone your blade to work as new and also
provide new cutting sticks.
When the old blades get too small for usage we can provide new blades, including tungsten carbide tipped  blades for a longer machine life. Blades can be provided for the Muller, Ideal and polar amongst others.
